Prepare students for a seminar

Add a reading and a learning goal. Ask for an explanation of the main concepts, followed by questions that check understanding.

Example: For a strategy course, introduce resources and capabilities before students discuss a firm's competitive position in class.

Practise applying a theory

Provide a case and the framework you teach. Use expandable sections to reveal context, then add multiple-choice questions with feedback about each decision.

Example: Ask students to identify which management concept applies to a workplace situation and explain the correct choice in the feedback.

Review a process or sequence

Use a timeline to show events or stages. Add a sorting activity so students classify examples using categories from your course.

Example: Review the stages of a research project and ask students to sort tasks by stage.

Offer practice between classes

Create a recap with multiple-choice, true-or-false or fill-in-the-blank questions. Choose ungraded practice when students need to rehearse concepts.

Example: Provide terminology practice before a quiz. Review the answers and feedback before publishing.
